SEOUL: Korean girl group T-ara’s Ryu Hwa Young has caused a stir online after Korean netizens started circulating a screen capture from a recent episode of a Korean music programme, which showed Ryu Hwa Young suffering a wardrobe malfunction, reported Korean media.
During their live performance of “Lovey Dovey“, T-ara's Ryu Hwa Young accidentally exposed her breast during her dance solo. A screencap is already making its rounds online through Korean media portals and other SNS services like Twitter and even tumblr. Fans have been expressing sympathy for Ryu Hwa Young and anger at her stylist. At this time, T-ara’s agency (Core Contents Media) has yet to make an official statement about the slipup.
Ryu Hwa Young was performing on stage, during SBS’ Inkigayo when this incident occurred. Fans have begun tweeting and posting on websites with strong words against the dresser and stylist of Ryu Hwa Young, for not ensuring this would not happen.Fans are showing support for Ryu Hwa Young by tweeting encouraging words such as, “Poor Ryu Hwa Young" and “Ryu Hwa Young ah, dont worry k. no one blames you for that incident. The person who should be blamed is your stylist”.
The 18-year-old singer had been in the middle of an energetic dance solo while the group was performing T-ara’s latest song “Lovey Dovey”, when the accident occurred.In a statement to the media, T-ara’s management agency Core Contents Media said Ryu Hwa Young was distraught over her accidental exposure on air.
